Gripping, dark, atmospheric , ‘The Farm’ is as unputdownable as ‘Child 44’ and ‘The Secret Speech’.

I  have enjoyed all Tom Rob Smith’s  books, if ‘enjoyed’ is the right word.

Modern day Sweden has all the oppressive unease of  Stalinist Russia and  his latest book, ‘The Farm’ , grabs you from the startling opening and doesn’t ease the tension  till the WP_20150330_001surprising, and satisfying, end.

It all hinges on whether a son can believe his mother’s chilling story.
